About “Places I Remember”
This site is a compilation of photos and essays resulting from trips I have taken since 2003. I have had many wonderful opportunities, some personal, and some business, to see many parts of our world. They cover the gamut, from glorious to depressing, from peaceful to stimulating. So far none have been scary. Wherever I go, I have been struck by the diversity of human cultures, and the beauty of the earth’s natural systems.
Information on specific locations and travel conditions is available, though not always current.
Images on these pages are low resolution, but you are invited to use them for your desktop or other personal use. Most of the photographs come from 35mm slides. I can have any of them professionally printed and mounted to your specification. If you would like publication rights please email.
